This & That

I'm feeling a bullet point post is in order....

The GOOD:

• sitting in the family room with this tree up and on just makes me HAPPY!

• we got new tile floors in our ancient not so master bathroom...it makes what is a sad little room feel much nicer to me!  
• we also had our master bedroom painted and I love the new color! 
• both of the above little renovations were part of my Christmas and part of my gift to myself from my little business of picture taking, card making, and blogs. 
• starting our Jesse Tree/Advent devotions (this could be debatable whether it goes in the GOOD or BAD category because the girls aren't what you would call good listeners) and really focusing on the season of waiting for the coming Christ child and all that this means for us

this is our little Jesse Tree (a few days ago with just 3 ornaments) - each night we have a devotion that begins in the beginning tracing the story of Christ as we wait for His coming birth and then hang up the ornament that goes with that story

• 3 cute children all dressed and ready for church this morning:)

The BAD:

• Jeff's back went out this week so he was out of commission for a few days and is still in a good bit of pain and not able to do much.  
• Abigail and I had a little stomach virus... but thank goodness it was short lived!

after a few hours of throwing up she finally fell asleep on the floor in front of the space heater

It's been a crazy first week of December!
