Last weekend, we celebrated a super fun Pajama party for Abigail's 4th birthday!
I love to throw a good party, but now that we have four children, I am trying to simplify a little. This party was really fun, not too expensive, and pretty easy to pull off (I also had a lot of help from family in town).

| I designed and printed a really simple invite |
Abigail was so excited for her party and kept saying she couldn't wait to see all her friends in their pajamas!
{The Party Table}
Bran Muffins with chevron penants
Assortment of Fruit
Bacon (not shown)
Pancake Cupcakes
Candy eggs and bacon
Donut Hole Pops
plates and party banner from Target on clearance
pink placemats and napkins from Oriental Trading leftover from another party
{Party Activities}
Our party activities were making fruit loop necklaces, make your own pillowcase, and read If You Give a Dog a Donut. All three were a huge hit!

| fabric crayola crayons, stamps, and fabric ink pad all from Hobby Lobby, white pillowcases from Wal Mart |

Then of course it was time to sing happy birthday and enjoy all the goodies!!! Abigail does not like a lot of attention on herself:).
{Favors}
For the favors, I just did dollar tree bowls with small boxes of cereal:). Simple but cute!

We are so blessed by all the family that came into town to help
celebrate. It was a fun excuse for us all to get together (we also had
Samuel's party later that afternoon - more on that soon, and a big
football game to watch).

Rachel - what a GREAT idea for a party! I love the eggs w/ the bacon! Your b'day parties are always very nice & extra cute! I'm a long-time lurker, yet I've rarely commented (for some reason)!? But, not this time! I just had to tell you how I am constantly amazed by how you literally seem to do it all. I know you sometimes have help, but you are the one that just had a baby, lived in another summer for most of the summer w/ your family & then immediately moved into a new house! Yet, you somehow still have enough time & energy for your blog (& I'm so glad that you do)! Thank you for sharing all of life's ups and downs with us, along w/ your relationship with our Father. You are an inspiration & one amazing person!
Love everything about this, Rachel. My favorite picture is of the cousin thumbsuckers :)
I just pinned this party! I loved everything about it!
This is the cutest idea Rachel! I will be referring to it in the future. So creative.
I am not surprised one bit but this is such a precious, precious idea!! I might have to do copy it in the future!
SO cute!! You did a GREAT job!!! I am doing a Pancakes & Pajama's party for Kate's 6th bday in January. I had pinned some of these same ideas a few months ago, I loved seeing how you executed them! I am also doing the mini pancakes, eggs & bacon, fruit loop necklaces & donut pops. Our party colors are purple & lime green (per Kate's request1) Happy 4th birthday Abigail!
I love love the idea of using the mini pancakes as the "cupcake", so clever!
did you serve the pancakes at room temperature?
I love this party and want to do one for Gracie's 10th birthday. Thanks for the cute ideas. Could you tell me what kind of White Chocolate that you used? I have seen other ones on pinterest and they look like blobs/messy! LOL jhale45@cfl.rr.com
