Enjoy the tour and let me know if you stopped by!!!
You are going to have to bear with me cause I have a lot of pictures to post. I can't help it...I do have 3 kids!
Also, we have been doing a bit of rearranging in regards to these rooms and about a week ago, my oldest 2 started sharing a room. So, I'm not exactly thrilled with their room cause I had to merge 2 rooms (that didn't match at all) together. Anywhoo...it's still cute and they love sharing it. So without further ado...
Samuel and Ellie Kate's Room
looking in the door

Samuel's bed

Ellie Kate's dresser with a painting I made for her
the dresser was my grandparents and it's really cool!

Glider that some friends gave us so we could keep the comfy chair in the nursery

another cool piece of furniture from my grandparents and fun shelves (bathroom to the left and out into the hallway to the right)

Close up of the shelves with some special things

The CHOSEN picture was given to me at Samuel's shower before we adopted him and the plate has 1 Samuel 1:27 which is what he is named after...much like Hannah, I wept and waited a long time for my special boy and gift from God! You might also see some Ukrainian nesting dolls that we got in Ukraine while we were there finding Samuel.
Ellie Kate's shelf holds the picture frame I made her, a painting that was given to her, and a beautiful engraved silver cup from her grandmother (Jeff's mom). Inside the cup is a silver spoon that was given to me from my fertility clinic after I got pregnant with her from IVF!

Now, Miss Abigail's room
Poor thing got all of Ellie Kate's hand me downs (she better get used to it I guess). I did do some new paintings for her though. Now, she originally had the brown curtains that are now hanging in the older kids room so I had to just put these pink ones (I already had them) that don't match up until I can get some more brown ones. It really looked much better with the brown curtains.

I LOVE this pink dresser! We had an old dresser down in our basement and when I was preggo with EK, I painted it pink and put the glass knobs on it. It is one of my favorite pieces of furniture...as it was really ugly before and now it's just beautiful!

Changing table and another painting I did
it's driving me crazy that the baskets are crooked:)

Okay! Hope you enjoyed the tours!!! That was a lot of pictures!!!
Hang in there...I'm not finished! I have to post the original nurseries.
This was Samuel's room right before we left for Ukraine. I had SO MUCH FUN coming up with his room...I had been waiting a LONG time to do it! It's a smaller picture because it was ions ago on my 5 megapixel piece of crap camera (ha)!
And here is my favorite part of Ellie Kate's nursery (this was her room when we lived in Athens, GA). I wanted to do the dots again at this house, but just didn't have the energy when we moved last summer.

Great pics thanks for sharing. :)
These rooms could be straight out of a children's catalog! Great job on the paintings as well!
These rooms are so cute. Great furniture from your grandparens, and you did a really nice job on the paintings!
I love your rooms! Those polka dots are too cute. If I ever am blessed with a girl, I'd love to steal that idea!
Have a great weekend!
Also, your paintings are AMAZING! Did you free hand the writing or follow a stencil? I wanna make some for my boys!!!
Love the rooms!! The paintings you made are so good!! The monkey and elephant are too cute.
I love the 'cowboy' paintings above Samuel's bed - did you do those too? And also the 'Wonderfully Made' one - so sweet!
I love all the paintings you did especially the frames! It looks like we have very similar taste. Thanks for sharing!
Rachel, the kids are cute as always. Love the rooms. Love Ellie Kate's polka dots at her old room. The girls share well thankfully. I was worried too with them being the smallest two but they do well.
I LOVE the dressers- and the polka dots are precious!! TOO FUN!!!
that pink dresser is precious. love the knobs you picked out! :)
You are a very talented artist! I love everything you painted! What precious gifts for your children.
Mrs. Nurse Boy
These rooms are adorable!! I especially like the last picture with the dots!
Congratulations on your beautiful family
Lovely rooms! Thanks for sharing!
Wow! You got a lot of comments on that one!! I did love those polka dotted walls, too. I love that even though I havent physically gotten to come to your house, I can see it. You are one talented woman, your paintings are great. I love the elephant and monkeys and I LOVE Abigails room and the big bed with her name over it!
I love the name Ellie Kate!! and I love all of these rooms!! You did a great job and so sorry that I am just now commenting!! You have great style and a gorgeous family!
Your rooms are adorable, but your kids are even MORE adorable! I peeked at your beach pictures too and they are sooo cute! What kind of camera do you use... great pics! And I love your pink dresser... so girly! I have a little girl named Emily Kate and we call her "Emmie Kate" and the 2 names I had for my son were either Samuel (which I always thought he would be) and Noah. Noah won out, but I always said if I were blessed to have another boy, his name would be Samuel... we share similar taste in children's names! I love your blog!

I am in Northport, I love finding local bloggers! I have to know, do you sale these canvas paintings? You should go into business girl!! Great Job!
